Head of Risk (Corporate Banking) (Ref. No.: 26878)
Our client, a Leading Bank, is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position.
Job Duties
- Conduct comprehensive risk management in accordance with the guidance of the HKMA;
- Oversee and manage the bank's credit risk and market risk function;
- Establish risk teams to ensure banks comply with regulatory requirements;
- Develop policies and procedures for different risk functions;
- Serve as a member of the Credit Committee to review and approve credit applications within the scope of authority;
- Collaborate with other business units to ensure a consistent approach to credit risk management across all business lines;
- Handle risk audit reviews and follow-up actions by headquarters and Hong Kong regulators;
- Serve as a member of the risk management and internal control committees;
- Assist Bank management with various ad hoc projects or initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Degree holder or above in business administration ore related disciplines;
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in wholesale credit risk management preferably in Chinese banks, including 8 years of team management experience;
- Familiar with credit approval and market risk management of Chinese banks;
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team and work with multiple stakeholders;
- Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English;
- Good Chinese report writing skills.
