Senior Business Analyst

Our client, a Global Investment Bank, is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position.

Analyze existing Front-To-Back business workflow of Portfolio Managers, Dealers, Compliance and Operations, covering both current global/local system usage and manual process outside of systems.
Produce quality documentations to facilitate review by local stakeholder, and reengineering work by global/regional/local project committee.
Assess local market practice and evaluate for improvement options following international best practice where possible.
Propose for new local operating model and drive towards implementation of new systems and processes.
Manage Request-for-Proposal (RFP) process for target application selection and sourcing.
Ensure full engagement and buy-in from local business stakeholders and global governance parties.
Produce project mandates including detail scoping, project timeline/resources and budgetary information.
Manage project of new systems and workflow implementation, produce project planning and thereafter regular project status reporting.
Lead project resources in task development and resolve dependencies.
Identify project risks and issues, propose for mitigation actions and ensure high priority items are escalated to project steering committee for decision making.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Sciences or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years working experience preferably with 5 years in Asset Management.
Minimum 6 years as Business Analyst in Front Office and/or Back Office areas.
Sound knowledge in Asset Management business and applications, such as front office trading, portfolio management and transfer agency, etc.
Strong people management, project management skill, and organizational skill.
Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities and good ability to understand strategic business issues and appreciate technical and operation implications.
Strong interpersonal skill, maintain good partnership with IT subordinates, internal users in Asia region, global IT teams and external service providers.
Strong communication skill, understanding intended audience and providing effective communication.
Project management skill, understanding of full project life cycle and ability to apply standard project management methodology.
Proficiency in written and oral English.
