Job Opening - Hangtung human resources

Our client, a Financial Institution, is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position.

Manage IT projects for the Company, the scope of which includes implementation of a private cloud platform enhancement and its security-related products to support deployment of new applications in private cloud environment
Manage the following key aspects of the project according to the defined project governance framework
Scope and schedule which including development of the project plan, integration of vendor’s project plan into the master project plan, and identification of the critical path
Communication which includes arrangement of steering committee meetings as well as presentation materials and minutes, preparation of progress reports and ensuring involvement of the related stakeholders
Tracking of project expenses and preparation of expenditure report based on the defined budget
Study of related vendor contracts to ensure realization of contract benefits
Management of priorities to ensure that all critical path-related tasks are on track
Perform the technical project manager role to identify the interdependencies of different technology components and reflect those interdependencies into the project plan, drive the delivery of implementation to assure the technical components are implemented with all dependencies fulfilled
Keep track of project issues as well as risk and action items to ensure settlement of any outstanding item by related owners
Manage the project team of vendor and work closely with internal project team members and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of the project
Ensure proper documentation of the project by the vendor and in the internal project repository and drive the project closure
Manage the Project Management Office for the Company to ensure the project governance are enforced, which include the governance process review and update, regular follow up on the governance process, etc.
Manage project budget to ensure proper tracking of the spending and relevant records
Handle any ad hoc project-related duty as assigned by supervisors

University degree in information technology, computer science or related discipline
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience preferably gained from major financial institutions with proven experience in managing scalable IT infrastructure projects
Experience in implementing cloud projects with K8S is preferred
Experience in managing project management office is preferred
Solid knowledge of PMP and Prince 2 or possession of relevant certification
Experience in IT contract management, particularly in respect of resolution of contractual or commercial issue
Experience in managing budgets of large-scale IT project
Positive attitude and strong commitment to delivery of projects with good quality
Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese. Ability to communicate in Putonghua is preferred
Effective communication skills, particularly the ability to present complex ideas and technical details in layman terms to different levels of stakeholders
Strong multi-tasking capability with pleasant personality
